One problem with consignment is you can get a lot of wanna bee lookers who want to drive the vehicle around. And if you have a stick shift, some wanna bee's don't even know how to drive a stick.
The last place that I considered for consignment they wanted a flat 20% off whatever it sold for, plus a fee to put it on the lot. I told them to forget it. Sold it myself to someone who was serious about it.

old thread, but classic cars sell FAST to international persons. no consignment / test drives needed. They will find you a shipper / container person to pick it up, and it is GONE. (for a lot of DOUGH)
