I had a company truck back in 2008. Drove it off the Ford lot with 2 miles on it. At 8k miles the right rear tire blew driving down the side of a mountain. I almost lost control of the truck. Our company had one more do the same thing so we ended up replacing the tires on our entire fleet of F150s for another brand (Generals I think) and didn't look back. I haven't bought a Hankook tire since.

Hankook Optimos were original equipment on my 2013 Flex. Truly horrific tires - I replaced them after less than 800 miles. In fairness, performance is my number 1 priority. Longevity and noise mean almost nothing to me.

Mine were Hankook Dynapro. Horrid tires.

I've got Hankooks on my Caprice. They hold up fairly well considering the fact that I do 90% of my driving on gravel.

Not sure about tires for regular passenger cars but performance version EVO V12's are awesome tires. I'm on my third set on my 400hp Z and they're quiet and grip is excellent.

I've had the Optimo 727's on my 78 Lincoln for 3 years now and they have been great tires. Very smooth, quiet and comfortable.

I went from Michelin to Hankook back to Michelin. I though the Hankook ride was awful, the tires soft, and they didn't seem to command the road like the Michelins do.

I purchased 4 Hankook tires and before the year was out they needed to be replaced because they were so worn. I got 13,000 miles out of a tire that was rated for 70,000 miles! I worked through the company that I bought them, and we met with a Hankook rep, took pictures and addressed the concern and problem of faulty tires. I am not a teenage driver with attitude....In fact, I am 50 ish and drive decently. They offered a $100.00 credit on the replacement of those 4 tires! This was unacceptable! I called the company and sent an email with no response. This is such poor customer care and service! Disappointing! and I will NEVER buy Hankook tires again.

As I said back in '13 on this thread (page 3) I put Optima H724's on my 79 'Bird and so far so good. They've been completly trouble free. I'll buy 'em again. Of course my car won't pull 1g on a skidpad or do 0-60 in 6 seconds, so it's not like they're stressed.

I think Hankook tires are among the best. I had Michelins on my truck and when it came time to re-tire, no Michelins were available in my size. I bought Hankooks, save A LOT of money and they handle every bit as well, and are quieter than the Michelins. When it comes time to re-tire again, Hankooks will be my first choice.

I also bought a new 2017 Corolla in March. I was delighted to see it was outfitted with Hankooks. The 2005 Corolla I traded in was originally outfitted with Goodyears. They only lasted about 20,000 miles. I replaced the Goodyears with Kumho tires. They were great tires, too.
