The SRX, to my knowledge, doesn't have the CUE system. The CUE system will debut on the ATS.
I was thinking the same thing myself. The 2012 SRX still uses the old pop-up nav screen system. CUE will debut first on the ATS and XTS, but will be available in 2013 on the SRX as it is getting an interior redesign that year.
On the auto show circuit they do have a 2013 SRX demo with a CUE system in it that you can play with. AFAIK, that's the only way for anyone to play with it.
Those comparison really illustrate how far Cadillac is coming in their interior material uses. Grey plastic abounds in the 2012 model but the 2013 model is really utilizing some beautiful interior pieces. I'm in LOVE with that steering wheel in the 2013, I really want one (ATS though).
I dunno about the Transformers-logo-shaped center stack car makers are using these days, particularly domestics. That's gonna look hugely dated in 10-15 years.

I thought the Cue was the sync with Pandora and iHeart from your iPhone, the 40GB hard drive, the instant traffic and weather updates from Nav, the bluetooth intergration, the location finder upload to Nav or Onstar. I spoke to my sales guy today and he said it was part of the SRX DIC not CUE. I was wrong but it has amazing technology. I haven't watched the video, just saw it on the site. I had a 2007 SRX which had none of that was a piece of garage but since they rebuilt the SRX, I went ahead bought it. I bought the Performance collection.

The SRX is a great choice, my retired parents own one and they really like it.
The CUE system is something I'm eagerly awaiting, I truly believe it'll blow away all other infotainment systems from every other luxury manufacturer out of the water!
Realizing the subject is now moot where the OP is concerned... the ATS is now in the hands of the automotive press and so far so good. IMO this is the best execution yet of the "Art and Science" design language. With all due respect to the impressive CTS-V, this is the first time since I was in high school (and didn't yet know better) that I've thought to myself, "wow, I really, really want a Cadillac." I'll take mine with the 2.0 turbo and a manual please.
Get your lens prescription adjusted. The ATS is by far the most distinctive-looking car in its class.
To you. I like the Art&Science design but it looks too much like the CTS/XTS. It does not look youthful to me and it has no buzz. But hey you think the Honda Insight is the standard for design and technology
