I've got other buddies who have $10,000 and even $15,000 paint jobs on their classics. They make my bathroom mirror look like hell! LOL That's one good thing about the classics. For $6,500 you can make a EVIL vintage V8 with the temper of the devil! That '90 is the newest ride out of the bunch. That EFI and supercharger crap is $$$$$$$$!!!

Well, I can honestly say that that new Camaro sure does more for me than the Camery or Accord. That's like a '12 5.0 GT sitting next to a VW Bug! Ewww

Never get involved in that kind of thing.

I buy or build a car for me and nobody else.
Sure, it's always nice if someone appreciates it, but I don't need other folks' validation.

Nope, the only person who's opinion matters to me with regards to my cars is my wife.

when younger we never tried to one-up the other... we may have ripped on other cars in our group as a running joke (Chevy guys cutting on the Fords, etc) but at the end of the day we respected all the cars regardless of emblem on the front.

Now at my age, while i like and enjoy cars i could give a rats arse what others drive or for that matter what others think of my car. Homey dont play that game
