I used to think it was Indiana, but now I think the award goes to Ohio. It doesn't matter where I'm driving, if the plate says Indiana or Ohio, I give 'em plenty of room.
New Jersey without a shred of doubt in my mind. Poorly engineered road systems covered with drivers doing whatever the hell they please. I don't mind driving around there however I do have an appreciation for how awful it is.

I agree that their local roads are bizarre. I'd rather drive in midtown Manhattan than drive on local Jersey roads. That said, Florida was the worst overall driving experience that i personally have observed. The best that i've seen overall would probably be Pennsylvania.
They all seem to have their charms. CA drivers are aggressive but for the most part seem to know what they are doing and are paying attention.
Around Atlanta, GA you have a very special breed of knucklehead that really likes to multi-task in the car, said multi-tasking can include reading the paper, as well as eating breakfast/lunch/whatever, and the girls are paying more attention to their own image in the rear-view mirror than to the road ahead.
NYC seemed to take the cake for full-on aggression and mirror-knocking.
