Sure can.. Ford 5.0 (302 ) used in the cheap v8 stangs and also the navigators..same block, same pistons, same spark plugs, same oil filter etc etc. I'm sure GM does it too...

1) The 5.0 Mustang starts in the 30s; 2) the 5.0 is not used in the Navigator. Try again.

Ok try this..The plane jane crown vic does have a 5.0...I bet the big loaded down Lincoln does have the same engine. My point is that the very expensive cars are not based on their engines being made better than other engines and they wear out just as fast. What point are you making?

A point you have thus far failed to substantiate.

You also do realize that BMW engines power RR's now.

Actually they don't. The Evoque and LR2 are powered by a Ford Ecoboost 4-cylinder and the others by a Jaguar engine.

I promise you that the engine in my BMW X5M does not share the motor with a cheaper version of anything.

I did not buy this BMW for the status, when i got rid of my Ford Lightning I wanted something faster.

I had a 1987 mercury grand marque and it had 5.0 written on the engine and you are saying in 1987 ford crown vics did not offer the same engine? I think you just embarrassed yourself..lol ps learn the facts before disputing someone like me...And as far as BMWs go we ALL know how well their engines are made from looking at the fast depreciation they have....lol .....show me where the 5.0 (302) was not offered in the crown vics "EVER"...I will wait for your answer.
