My Partner just bought me a 2002 35th Anniversary edition LE Camaro convertible!! It's only one of 3000 made! Unfortunately, it's all the way out in Texas and I don't get to pick it up until right before Thanksgiving.
I once owned a 1970 Camaro Z 28;all stock. It had a 360 HP LT1 350 engine.I was 20 years old and bought it from the orig. owner in 1976 with 38k miles on it.The owner made me swear not to abuse it.I wish I had it now.
Yes, there were LT1 in Camaro's in the early models. They are MAJOR $$$$$$$!!!
Yes! We LOVE Camaro's. We own two right now. A 68 Convertible RS and a 69 RS/SS. Hubby is waiting till the kinks get worked out of the anticipated new one coming in 2009 I want on the list NOW!
Where in Texas is your Camaro???? A friend of ours is getting ready to load up some cars to haul to another state real soon (before Thanksgiving - like in next week I believe). OR I'll drive it to ya

It's in McKinney, Texas just north of Dallas. We're going to drive out in our Mustang and pick it up then do a "Cannonball Run" on the way home. First one back to Charleston wins! No using the Interstate and No speeding tickets allowed! Loser has to buy dinner.

Ah, I'm in the Dallas area so it is right here. Be careful and ask the people if they had any work done by Camaro World. Bad, Bad, BAD! Being that new and that he closed up shop on 75 in Richardson earlier this year and then opened up again in Garland maybe not. He usually did older Camaro's so your probably safe. If you need any original replacement parts for it then check out Firewheel Classics while your here. Floyd carries everything Camaro's.
Okay, a trip to Charleston? I'll drive it to ya Visited there for the first time this summer. LOVED IT!

Be careful. Drive fast, but smart. Don't take lots of chances, respect other drivers, and slow down while taking curves. Remember that and you'll be fine and win for sure.
I love the 2009 Camaro, Im going to wait. Maybe someday I'll buy one. I like to see when they come out with an SS model. That would be the car to buy. For now I'll settle with the SS i have now. I always wanted the Camaro SS.
