I have a 1993 Chevy s10 and I'm having a blinker/brake problem. When I get in the truck with the ignition off and put my foot on the brake my right turn signal comes on, not flashing but froze also when I have it running and I turn my blinkers on they won't flash. All the bulbs are good all the grounds are good just need help to fix it any info? Please help thank you in advance
Check and see if the right bulbs are plugged in ti the right wires, and then go from there. They use a single bulb for all lighting needs, so there are dual filaments in the bulbs. It could be the brake switch, or the blinker switch.
I'd suspect the turn signal switch, the brake switch is either on or off. If any of the brake lights work the brake switch is working. The bulbs use the same filaments, when you turn the signal on it disconnects the brake circuit to that bulb and connects that bulb to the turn signal circuit.
