Thumbs up C Flange Bracket exhaust leak fix

BostonMike7, you have a really really good solution for your application. It looks like a secure hold on the pipes. My issue is the torque used to sandwich the two pipes. I had issues with bending when I needed a good amount of tightness. In any case it looks like it should last.

I created something to fix my troubling flanges. I noticed the leaks were always between the bolt spaces where the flanges tend to bend outward. I call it C Flange Bracket because is supports the existing metal fatigued flanges. For flanges to damaged to reuse, cut them and still use the same C Flange Bracket application. Search for C Flange Bracket videos for application demo.

If you're in Boston, there is going to be rust everywhere in there. Tap the pipe anywhere with a screwdriver and it'll go right through. Living in the Midwest, I usually found it best to just go to a muffler shop (independent, not associated with any franchise like Midas) and have them replace everything that is not rusted out.
