I have just bought a new 2014 Senta fe Sport 2.0 T and I faced the same problem on the first day. While trying to accelerate it is jerking . I was not even driving on ECO mode. I took the car to dealer service center next day and they said the car will adjust itself after driving . He asked to give it a go for another 1500 miles.
I am really skeptical. Is it only my car or all hyundai senta fe.

Nope. My old 2012 Sonata 2.0T didn't require premium. My current Taurus SHO (3.5L twin turbo) doesn't require premium. Direct Injection and other technologies are great.

Quite a few modern turbos do not require premium fuel. Ford's Ecoboost engines are an example. Credit direct injection for much of that.
Direct injection cools the combustion temperatures enough that premium fuel is often not required in turbo applications. However, many such engines they are optimized for and the manufacturers still recommend premium, and you're likely to suffer a drop in power and fuel economy if you use regular.
