I was in a car accident on 11/13/13 where the other person was at fault. I was driving in a 2005 Saturn Relay with 158,000 miles on it and now the body shop and insurance company are saying it is worth 6,200. There is no way on this planet this minivan is worth that much money. We've been to KBB, AutoTrader and Edmunds and the most we've seen is 1,747. The body shop told us there was over 2,000 worth of body damage alone and that's not even looking under the hood. I know the insurance company is trying to pull a fast one over on us especially since I was hurt, and now they are trying to force us to sign to pick up the van. We've been to all the dealerships and mechanic shops and we're been told the insurance company is scamming us but what do we do? We only have 5 more days in our rental. I am very through and I am putting in the vin # to get an exact estimate not a ball park. Any advice will be greatly helpful.
