Never really mattered to me, since I find nothing wrong with the Pontiac Aztec and Nissan Juke. Sure, some designs look sleeker than others, but it's no big deal.
I prefer certain looks over others, yes.
Most of the time, models which I like based on function and performance also end up being aesthetically pleasing to me.
I can't spend tens of thousands of dollars on something that isn't a work of art in it's own right and feel good about myself. If transportation was truly for 100% practical reasons, I'd be on the bus.
My pickup truck, which I bought for towing, is the only vehicle I've bought where looks did not factor into the equation. I would not buy a reliable and well functioning car that was ugly, but I also wouldn't tolerate a great looking unreliable car. I've been fortunate enough to be able to purchase the best of both worlds, in my opinion, in most cases.
I'm not super picky, I just love almost all cars even if I wouldn't own it. I do dislike 2 tone paint jobs though. And Purple, color changing or Teal cars. I see great classics ruined with what I consider silly paint jobs. To me most cars look great solid one color.
Uh, it's a little weird showing up in the parking garages/business parks I sometimes go to. Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Maserati, BMW, Lexus, Lexus, Mercedes, Cadillac, Porsche, Mazda3, BMW. In general, doesn't bother me though. Next car I might go more rental car look though as I've had some negative reactions. It also helps that I'm a little older and don't look like I'm right out college driving up in my I just got out of college car even though I'd been out for four years.
Yeah, I like appearance and design.
Not very many cars of late really catch my eye, but I do like the Mazda SUV (I forget the model name), but the cars I've been considering in my research are few. I do like the Buick Lacrosse, but can't really sit comfortably in a car (sedan) because of back issues. Funny thing, when the Hyundai Santa Fe first came out, I thought it was ugly - but after some years it grew on me and after a test drive, I've all but fallen in love with it. What's more, owners have spoken very highly of it. So I decided to make it my next vehicle.
The Nissan Juke doesn't have a center armrest, which is a problem for me.
