Hi everybody,

Unfortunately my wife crashed her car in an accident. She is safe but the car is completely gone.
We are now in big troubles. She absolutely need to get a car for her work

We tried to apply for a lease at Toyota but turns out that her credit score is too low.
The problem is that she spent the last ten years out of the US so she is the process of rebuilding her credit score.

Do you know any dealer or any other way to either lease or buy a car on a monthly payment?
We cannot afford to pay the full cost of a car upfront.

Thank you for your help

How about leasing a car under your name? Or have a good friend or relative? I believe you can lease, so long as you pay a decent amount of upfront down payment..

Lease deals are usually reserved for people with good credit. Buy an easy to maintain beater until things improve.

This.

However, I did manage to get a 415 bought once when I was working for Ford, but that was back in 2005.

There new car dealers out there that will finance with low credit scores, however the interest rate is going to be high. Get on you local car dealers websites and they will normally tell you if they do or not under their finance section.

I had a bankruptcy (medical) about 6 years ago and so that's dragging my score down. I did manage to find a dealer that would work with me and got the car I wanted. You may not get the exact car you wanted but it will still be a new or newer car and after a few years you can get what you want.

Buy a newspaper, go to the automotive section, and start calling some of the dozens of dealerships running ads that say"No credit? No problem!"

Even if you can get approved on a loan, it is most likely that the interest rates will be sky high. The chances are, you will be upside down on your car as soon as you sign the contract.

If you have poor credit and finance a car, you're likely going to pay just as much in interest as the vehicle costs.

How much do you have to work with? I would see what you can find with what you have.
