Current owner of an Aura, bought new in 08. Have experienced NONE of the problems you cite.Nothing. This is why I say you can't go by lists or internet postings.
Agreed! I bought a used '07 that's still going strong...probably the most trouble free car I've ever owned. Their key fobs are garbage however.
I could maybe restate that as "elemental." Honda uses a lot of high technology to make cars that feel simple, pure and connected to the road. They still do what BMW used to.
My retired cousins have the XB. Half the people driving that ice cream truck are not teenagers.
Old men love the XB! It is like a small minivan to them. I knew a guy that bought a white one, called it "the refrigerator with wheels." I drove it, it had a 6 spd tranny so it was trying to be sporty but I don't have a use for that type of car.
I've had 3 Jags and would have another in a heartbeat. My old PT Cruiser was absolutely stellar at the job of being a car, with zero problems in the 5 years I had it. I also had a great Dodge Charger and a couple of the '80s turbo Daytonas. I also love the Scion FRS and first gen Xb.
My current Chevy Volt is the best car, though, at being a car that I've ever had. I highly recommend it. GM really spent extra effort on it and it shows.
I wonder what percentage of Scion owners switch to Toyota too. Scion is an entry level brand with a limited model range. Having few repeat buyers does not surprise me all that much.
