Have you seen the size of the Focus lately? It practically IS a mid-size sedan. The old Focus was the size of the new Fiesta. Cars always get bigger with time. The old Camry is the size of the new Corolla. The old Corolla the size of a new Yaris. Look at the Taurus. Started out as a small car, got bigger in the 90s, and now it's huge. So on, and so forth.

No. They aren't making 2014 models now. Your only chance is to find a 2014 on a dealer's lot. I just checked cars.com which says there are 171 remaining 2014 Fusions for sale in the US with manual transmissions. Do that search centered on your area. If you really want one of these you should probably act fast.

I had a stick-shift Fusion that I bought new in 2008, until a couple years ago. It really was not a good match for the car and it felt like it needed another gear, but that was the old 5-speed. I've never seen a car with the 6-speed manual.

The 2010-2012 Face lifted Ford Fusion had a 6-speed Mazda G6M manual on the 175 hp 2.5 liter I4 on the S and SE trims.

EPA rated Fuel economy was 23 mpg city/33 mpg highway/26 mpg combined (automatic), 22/30/25 (selectshift, SE/SEL trims), 22/32/25 (manual, S trim); 22/29/24 (manual, SE trim).

Wait... they added a manual to the Chevy SS? NICE! I wrote off that vehicle when I discovered it had only an automatic.

Another couple that come to mind....

Cadillac ATS-V
Cadillac CTS-V

If you search for cars with manual transmission on autotrader.com, then check the interior photos of the results, then you can see that most have automatic. Sellers select "manual" by mistake more often than not. Sometimes out of 15 results not one is really manual.

I just saw the news that Ford has dropped the manual for the 2015 model. Buying a used one would not really be an option because all the used Ford Fusion 2013-2014 cars within few hundred miles are automatic.
dodge models have seemed lacking stick shift in recent years too.

so, is there any 2015 model American mid-size-sedan Car (e.g. not a Toyota) that is offered with manual transmission?
I mean stick shift, not shiftable automatic?
Try a Jeep Wrangler.

I don't see the point of buying American only car brands anymore, unless you are stubborn and unwilling to try something new, because at some point in time you learned something and then worked new evidence into the equation over time.

#1 People are people.
#2 Foreign brands are consistently more reliable.
#3 Most car review sites list the Honda Accord and Mazda 6 as the best mid-sized sedan, both come in manual.
#4 7/10 most American cars(most parts from US/assembled in the US) are foreign, going by cars.com's ratings, different sites have different measures. The Cars.com American-Made Index - Cars.com
