Check this out. This is priced right for a car to get back and forth to work, or the grocery store.

Elio Motors | The next big thing in transportation!

I am DEFINITELY interested!

Too bad we will never see one on the road. This company has had all kind of issues.

That's about what I paid for a shiny new 1980 Datsun 210. If I wanted a 3 wheeler, I'd go for a classic Reliant Robin.

This car is affordable for just about everybody. If there were more cars this size on the streets during rush hour, the rush hours would be MUCH easier to take. There are too many full sized pickups, Suburbans and other behemoths on the road with just the driver taking up too much room, and wasting gas.

This car is a 3 wheeler. but the two wheels are in the front, unlike the Robin.

How would it be easier? It's still a car taking up a car space. you want a small trike feel free to buy one. I sinpky don't see how I'm going to get to work in one with all the things I need for work.

Give me some statistic on how a road full of small cars would really cause an effect on rush hour traffic? Is it because in a block you might be able to fit in three more cars? Or are you saying that you would be happier if everyone drove a small car, cause you like it? And this is rhetorical since I probably don't care!

Love to see you pull a trailer or pack a family of five into one of those small cars and go on a trip. Especially if they are the typical American family and extremely overweight.

Regardless, I'll stick with my pickup trucks and if I'm ever in an accident with a small car; odds are I will win!

What are the issues? I'm asking because a good friend of mine is interested in one and he asked me about them. I'm not a fan of it, but it would work for him as he could careless about cars in general.
