2007 Toyota Solara convertible - daily driver (my car)
2005 Toyota Highlander - daily driver (wife's car)
1972 Ford Mustang Grande - my show car - won't go into the details but if it were a daily driver, I'd go broke from just the gas... It only gets 6mpg when I DON'T get on it... and how can anybody drive a 600hp car WITHOUT getting on it?... you can't...
Of all the responses that I read, I realized that I drive the least powerful car on this thread, lool.
Am I the only one here that drive a manual transmission "micro" subcompact car around here? I'm feeling like a stereotypical European city boy
Don't feel bad. I love manual transmissions. I would still be driving a stick shift today if it weren't for the constant gridlocked traffic in our city. They just aren't practical around here.

Yeah, I know. Americans in general not really have a love affair with manual transmissions and hatchbacks. The opposite is true in Europe.
Me personally, only drive hatchbacks and with a stick shift. That's the norm around here. A Sedan looks aesthetically good on the exterior, but I don't find it really fun to drive and I get a little claustrophobic inside one.
Driving with a stick shift is something that it is expected from a able-bodied middle-class driver where I live. Automatic transmissions is reserved to older people, someone with some kind of disability, or the super-rich.
Btw, I'm planning to buy a small-sized SUV somewhere in the future. Any suggestions?

Small sized SUV? I'd highly recommend the Mazda CX-5. My wife drives one and we absolutely love it. Great build quality and very surprisingly it is fun to drive. And most importantly, it is available with a manual transmission.
2013 Chevy Volt. 84hp gas 149 hp electric. 1 speed automatic transmission.
2008 Chevy Corvette. 436bhp stock (car is not stock, currently 405rwhp or about 475-480bhp given the 18% drivetrain loss estimate) 6 speed automatic tranmission.
Right now its a 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4. It has a 360hp 5.0L V8 with a 6 speed auto transmission.
