I don't really have any "must haves" in terms of non-standard add-ons, but I prefer vehicles with:

-backup/reverse cameras

-multiple USB ports (my Jeep has at least 3)

-Bluetooth

-tinted windows (to the max allowed under law)

-the pump that raises the seat up and down (as opposed to just the recliner and back and forth motions)

-a good stereo (can't emphasize this enough!)

Tinted windows is an absolute requirement. First thing I get when I get a new vehicle.

That would definitely be a "must-have" for me.

Me too!

The only features that are not on my previous vehicle, a 1988 SAAB 900 Turbo that would be nice to have that it does not are cupholders, air bags and a power socket in the back. My current vehicle does not have a sunroof which I miss.

For our next vehicle which will not be a car my wife insists on a decent bathroom with shower and it will most likely not be a manual transmission due to we are looking for well used.

The rest aren't a "must have," they are a nice to have.

I think a windsheild and mirrors are also a must have

Pretty much all new cars in Texas are tinted by the dealer the instant they come in.

That's interesting. There are a lot of tint shops here in Denver area so it is big business here as well. But dealers here don't normally tint windows as a package though.

For me, it's heated seats and bluetooth, or the ability to add it easily. All the rest depends on the car I'm looking at. Small cars need manual transmissions. Big cars and SUVs are better suited to automatics. Which is why my MINI has a manual and my 7 series and Suburban are automatics.

Other than that, decent power for it's class, good ergonomics, and full gauges are plusses.
