I've been wanting a new car for a while. I drove a few but nothing really captured everything I wanted. Until I drove the new-for-2016 340i with the newest engine. Hello! Four doors, all the gadgets I could want, and it's just hilariously, stupdendously fast.

I love this car.

And just think, the new 3-series (F30) is considered by many to be the worst driving 3-series in a long lineage going back 40 years. I've had an e36 (1998), e46 (2002), and now e93 (2011), all M3's, and they have been thoroughly enjoyable.

I like the color. I've had Le Mans blue on my e46 and Interlagos blue on my e93.

They made a number of suspension modifications for 2016 to address complaints. It's been a while since I've driven a 3-series, but it's definitely an engaging car.

Yeah that's a nice looking machine. I've had a couple BMW's and enjoyed them. A 2011 135i and an 04 325Ci. The E46 in particular I kind of miss. Still wouldn't mind owning an E92 M3 some day.
