The new Bentley Bentayga, with its W12, 600hp and 665 lbft of torque and a much more aerodynamic body, can hit 187 mph.
To get a Suburban brick to do 200mph, you'd need twin turbos, a helluva lot of boost, and probably a minimum of 1000 horsepower.
And, it would probably only hit 200 mph once, before blowing up/crashing in grand fashion.
more like he would need 2000hp, which means the 454 with at least twin turbos, and most likely running on nitromethane for fuel, and a good mechanical injection system, enderle and jackson both make good ones.
and beyond the aerodynamic issues, there i going to be the issue of weight as well. and then he is going to have to deal with traction, just because one has four wheel drive doesnt mean you have enough traction to handle the needed power.
I don't think it would be impossible. Just take the small block and transmission out, for weight purposes, and besides the transmission won't hold up to the power needed that the current small block doesn't have. Now, that you have eliminated useless weight it's time to consider the swap. Go down to the nearest boneyard and see if they have a used 737 or 727 laying around. Those vehicles are quite common so it shouldn't be too hard to find one. I think the 47 and up series would be too big even for the suburban. But I'd imagine a motor out of a 727 would do it. 200mph in your truck? No problem. Now remember, do not try to shoehorn that motor in the engine compartment. It won't fit there. So your on your own how to go about safely swapping in that motor as it's mounting style is a tad different then a small, or even a big block!
I do recommend changing over to larger brakes though as you might want to stop!

Um, never mind on upgrading the brakes as you won't need them! But go ahead if it will make you feel safer. Perhaps you can add a blow up life vest under your seat as well for the same purpose!
A Suburban is not designed to do such speeds, youd have to do much more than just put a different engine in the thing you'd have to rebuild the entire truck, which would turn out to be a very expensive course of action,The end product would probably turn out to be not street legal.
I just had a mental image of Wile E Coyote strapping a rocket on with skates trying to catch RoadRunner.
