Saw a "powder purple" one yesterday with the hardtop, gen 1. Lowered, wheels cambered out at a 35 degree angle, obligatory fart can exhaust as well. It was clean but ruined.
I work at a university, and I saw this in the parking lot at work. I've seen it several times in different lots on campus. It belongs to some kid who lives in the dorms, but I get the feeling it doesn't get driven much. It hasn't moved in weeks.
6 yr old ones are 185K+++ If that said 4.0 on the tail (instead of 3.8) it would be a 500K+++ used car.
MSRP new is 180K+ options but you might pay 40-60K over sticker to get one. Even more if it has rare color or options.
That is a 2019 or older 991 (2020+ 992 has flush door handles)
The 2011 GT3RS 4.0 is the most sought after, $800k plus. I remember a YouTube guy “supposedly” had one and drove it in a video many years ago. The guy seemed to go through cars weekly, but it was mentioned some very wealthy guy supplied all the cars, or probably a high end dealer.
You keep trying to get me to buy a 911. One of these days you might succeed. :-)
For now I’ll enjoy driving the old 356.
A 911 Turbo S would be a dream car for me. My neighbor has one, and it just sits in his garage forgotten. It was the wife's daily, and was replaced with a Urus.
