Annnnd saw a first generation Eagle Talon in Soo, Canada, which amazed me. Most of those old Diamond Star cars were utterly run into the dirt or dissolved into rust.

Yeah I haven't seen one in years and I am a enthusiast of these kind of cars so I would notice and I'm in the high population LA area.
I drive a Integra GSR and I almost never see another one. Thats another car that was abused, wrecked, stolen by kids. I do see regular Integras some.
I saw a Tesla again, it may have been the same one I saw previously. I'll remember it if I see one again, this one was white. But I saw a car I had to research not knowing what it was. A Genesis G80. Not a bad car from the review, sort of a budget luxury car. That's a Hyundai offshoot. But the Kia Stinger is the top car in that company family.
While doing some Christmas shopping we saw a 200? PT Cruiser in silver, then within a minute, another one, same color. We have a silver 2002 at home, so that was three in one day.
Stretched out with my latest issue of C&D and there was John Phillips panning their 2001 choice of COTY, the same PT Cruiser, with a glancing blow at the Chevy HHR. To me these were two of the most fun, unique cars for regular people ever, dare I say, whimsical?
They were (are!j unique and whimsical. I see PT Cruisers still, umm, cruising the streets these days, but I haven’t seen an HHR in a long time. I used to own a 1995 Neon, and I believe the PT Cruiser uses the same platform.
