Funny one. But we shouldn't goad this President, he just might start executing those drivers.
Some serious comments about this topic, because I don't like being passed on the right. I love driving on Germany's autobahn. Lane discipline. Keep right except to pass. It is generally followed there. Love it. That's based on driving about 600 miles mostly in Bavaria.
In the US, when there are 3 or more lanes and traffic is medium (not heavy, not light), if someone needs to go faster than the flow of traffic, their best way to do that, unfortunately, is to pass on the right.
That's because drivers tend to sit in the left and middle lanes. When traffic is medium, the right lane is frequently empty or is very lightly populated. That's based on driving over a million miles in every state except Alaska.
I don't like being passed on the right so I try to stay to the right.
If you drive across the country you will find that Texas interstate highways are posted to keep right except to pass. Something we learned from the German system. This usually works well, but since this is America you will always have a few a##holes.
Major interstates have the same message along the east coast, but more as a suggestion. Pass on right !
The problem is that some motorist are afraid to drive over the posted limit, and would set cruise control on 65 as opposed to half the cruise control at 75+.
I wish he would relax those ridiculous CAFE standards that are forcing manufacturers to use those tiny little overstressed turbocharged engines.
Hear Hear!!! I firmly believe we have reached or maybe surpassed the amount of REAL HP out of those 4 bangers. Still have a hard time believing that turbos are that trouble free and will last as long as a normal engine.

Oregon also. Oregon had signs saying if you didn't keep right you could get a ticket. That's encouraging but for the most part, we in this country do not keep right.
