Some of them kind of, sort of look like luxury as long as you don't look too close or raise the bar too high.
Genesis is different story... they stand up to a significantly higher degree of scrutiny. They're quite nice, actually.

Kia Stinger will change the way people think about Kia. This car is gonna be a huge hit if the price is right.

I have a 2013 Sonata with the affected engine, at 52K miles we have been okay so far, just have to keep an eye on the oil level, so far not loosing any.

I also used to have a Camry with the 2AZ-FE engine. They are known for stripped head bolts in the earlier generations and then for burning oil on the newer ones. Every manufacturer has its lemons.

In the United States of America's automotive industry, the term Big Three refers to the three major American automotive companies: General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler (FCA US).[1] Germany's Big Three are Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.[2] Japan's Big Three are Toyota, Nissan, and Honda.[3]
You, of course, realize that you're posting confirmation of yourself being wrong?

Apparently, you haven't yet realized that you said "Ford, Dodge and Chrysler" even though you typed it, and it was quoted in the reply.

They thought that with the K900. It flopped badly. And I like the K900.
There may just be limits to what people are willing to pay for ANY Kia. Interest wanes at $40K.

Hyundai believe this themselves.
That's why the Genesis and Equus aren't called Hyundais anymore.

My wife told me outright that she'd only look at a G80 if there was no "H" on it anywhere.
Well, all visible traces of the "H" are gone.

2 out of 3? Big deal. Kia out ranks the majority of our Domestic Manufacturer. Ford, Dodge and Chrysler. How pathetic is that.
The only thing saving these big 3 are the Trucks. But Toyota, Nissan and other are catching up fast. Toyota makes better trucks. Won't be long til they overtake Dodge and Ford.

Here's a good side by side. Toyota hides all the wires neatly protecting it. Ford has them laying around just waiting to snag. Toyota has heat-shields all across the exhaust. Ford does it half-azzed. lol

The Stinger is already receiving wide praises. Mostly from the younger crowd. (the crowd that can't afford anything over 30k).

Dodge and Chrysler are the same thing. And.. They're not particularly domestic anymore.

Domestic Manufacturer indicates one.

And it seems you still haven't figured out that the Big Three were considered Ford, GM and Chrysler.
