MMO is 100% solvent. If you want to strip lubrication, this is the stupid way to do it. Today's engines are not the engines of your grandfather when this crap was popular. Oils of those days had no additives or detergents to clean the internals. This junk has no place in any modern engine.
The quality of todays oils are such that additives like MMO are unnecessary and while it may give the car owner some peace of mind after using the product its basically a waste of money.
Out of curiosity what is your engine doing to make you feel the need to put this additive in it?

Engine/lifter "Tick" on startup, possible build up in the turbo... was gonna let MMO go with the current fill before maintaining 5k OCI, I haven't decided on an oil yet.
MMO is supposed to be "safe and gradual" whereas I always thought Seafoam was the overpriced waste, is also more aggressive, Seafoam.
