I kind of think the Opel/Chevy CUV would be at fault, or maybe it's 50/50?

If you rear end anyone 99% of the time you're at fault. The only time when it isn't your fault is if you get brake checked or the other driver does an unsafe lane change.

So was that a brake check you think? I don't know what the Opel stopped for, but it looks like the car in front of it was quite a bit ahead.

In my opinion, which doesn't count for anything, both of them are at fault. The turning car did not have right of way, but the other car failed to stop in time. There was enough time to stop.

Dashcam driver is at fault. While the other driver probably shouldn't have tried it at that time and stopped short.. The dashcam driver had ample opportunity to stop and didn't.

The turning car, I believe, may have been fooled a bit by the car waiting to turn left. It looks, though I can't say for sure, like that car moves a bit (Could be the camera shaking).. I think the right turn driver may have seen that movement, thought they were turning, which gave him enough time to get out.

I just assumed the cam car slid into the Opel.

Seems to be a compilation of what its like to drive on the road today, most of these incidents i have to deal with everyday, one thing i noticed was a lot of these dashcam videos the driver of the car with the camera caused many of the near accidents by not yielding or compromising his position on the road, sometimes ya gotta slow down or speed up,one incident was when a truck had his right turn signal on to make a lane change to exit the highway and the guy with the dashcam clearly sped up to prevent the truck from the necessary lane change( 720-750 time ).
