Yesterday morning I dropped off my girls with my sister so I can go to work. As I was going back to my car to go to work my car didn't want to start anymore. What can the problem be? I tried getting a jump but no luck. The radio and lights turn on but that all.

This should be in the automotive section.
Is your security light flashing? If so, turn on the key and leave it on for at least 30 minutes. This will reset the security feature on the car. They had a big problem with this in those GM cars.

Thank you. I didn't know how to post it in that section. I'll give that a try once I get off of work.

No need to get cruel with the battery. I laffed at the suggestion, but we revived a friend's car with the same symptoms as the OP by pouring Coke-a-Cola on the battery terminals.

I knew a man who was in the tank corps in the Korean war. He told me they used to clean corrosion off battery terminals with Cokey-Cola.
