I'm a huge fan.
Volvo has something similar.
There's a bit of a catch for Virtual Cockpit though. Google aerial view is overlaid on top of the navigation system so they're not the same as using Google on your computer. The routing may be slightly off from the aerial view's.
Also Google requires a 3G connection to the car (not your phone) which they sell for about $30 a month.
