I work in one. Seriously.
Seriously (again), I like the Charger and Challenger a whole lot. All domestics are about the same reliablity-wise, but I do like the style of the newer Chryslers.
I recently rented a Challanger and posted a review at Epinions. I gave it a failing grade.
I got my wife a new car and I got her a car I would never touch. She wanted a PT Cruiser and would not even consider anything else. I wanted a Toyota or a Honda because I know they will outlast the payments. I know nothing of this car but, as usual, I gave in to her wishes.
Did you show her the Scion XB? It's manufactured by Toyota. The XB reminds me a bit of a PT Cruiser but on steroids.
In the end though, it was smart of you to let her have a car she likes
A man who was married for 65 years was asked: "What was the secret of your successful marriage?" He replied: "Two words". The interviewer asked: "May I inquire as to what they are?" His answer..............."Yes, Dear"

When it comes to domestics, I don't really care for any of them. Not from an engineering standpoint, anyway. I rarely, if ever, drive a car from the Big Three that wows me with it's handling prowess.
The only thing they seem to be able to offer is styling. Chrysler by far is my favorite in that category. GM is stuck in the 90's, when it's not copying Toyota. Ford's are very bland.
I don't know if the current generation of Chrysler styling will hold up like the Europeans usually do, but I hope it does.

Well I hope so. Every domestic car I know of is a piece of schit.
