Surprised the Honda Odyssey is not really getting any mentions...

The first 3 generations of the Odyssey don't really have a genderized feel, they are just an average vehicle for the white elderly

The 4th generation of course wanted to target much younger drivers, so now that gets from me a soccer mom trophy...

Mustang Sally. Seriously, this question reminds me of the lady who went into a plumbing supply house and asked for a particular kind of pipefitting. The clerk asked her if she wanted a male or a female and she said, "I just want to fix a leak. I wasn't planning to breed them."

Well, sadly, even I (as a woman) notice the major hit-and-miss in the automotive industry. Some cars are not only feminine, but ugly as a f*****

1. Honda Fit - my niece's friends' mothers have driven a Fit at least once in their motherhood.

2. Lancia Ypsilon. I lived in Italy for 5 years and most of the women there owned Ypsilon. Yeah, she's pretty.

3. Suzuki Splash - 2010 facelift

4. Renault Twingo

5. Fiat 500

Bonus: Opel Adam - looks weird.

It for sure is known as the JLo car, meaning the car advertised by Jennifer Lopez.

The more I read this thread the more I am convinced this gender/race thing is a bunk. Why in the world would lesbians want a Subaru? And the thing about blacks and Cadillacs, that may have been true in the 70s with the Shaft and what not. You did see brand new Fleetwoods parked in the ghettos but today's Cadillac is a shadow of its former self.

Me too and just out of curiosity I was determined to read the entire thread to see if the Charger would come up!

But I have a Honda CRV which I bought because of good reviews, decent cargo space (2 dogs and their crates) and driving in Midwest winter conditions, which it does. I never realized it was a feminine car although I do think it's an attractive car.

You realize though certain cars can have gender symbolism depending on how they're perceived. Right?
