I own a turbocharged Buick Regal (little brother to the Grand National) and it requires the premium octane fuel.
Around here we have mostly 91 octane but I did manage to find one station that carries 92 octane. The attendant tells me it's pure 92 octane with no ethanol added.
Not sure if that is good or bad, can anyone confirm?
I would prefer gas with no ethanol in it at all, if I could get it. I'm not sure what I can get that does not have the "hooch" already in it, maybe avgas.
ethanol is not meant for most engines.Typical government knows best, dumb, dumb.

On all my high performamce saws I run 92-93 octane, no eth
There is nothing wrong with running pure gas in your car. I really do not see why you would think it would even be a problem.
Never said it wasn't a problem. I sort of thought maybe the ethanol they put in gas was some sort of an enhancing additive. But I wasn't sure which is why I asked.
