I'll never forget my first test drive in a Prelude. My impression of the car was that it was perfection! Handling, reliability, and power. At the time I was buying a Civic however, it was more in my budget. When I discovered that the Prelude would be discontinued after the 2001 model year I became concerned. I test drove a few in early 01, but my fixer-upper house was consuming my extra income and decided to be practical for once. I loved this car! I wish Honda would bring back the Prelude.

Ahhhh, the old Prelude. They were decent, nothing standout. Honda's last rendition was completely forgettable. I was all excited when we got our first shipment in at the dealer, and of course all of us had to take it for a spin. Meh. Totally forgettable. My fave was the generation right before that (with the triangular taillights and fixed headlights). The VTEC was a blast and I liked it better in that generation than in the Type-SH last Prelude. Wasnt a fan of the strange dashboard at all (long and dark), but I liked the car. Oh, and the last gen Prelude was fugly, especially the Avanti-like headlights.

Some cars I want back? The TT Supra, 300ZXTT, RX-7 TT. Toyota's entire lineup BLOWS. The 350Z, while decent, isnt as raw or fun as the old 300ZX, and the current Mazda RX-8 is lame and ugly.

I friend of mine used to have a '95 Prelude SE, it was champaign gold with tan leather. That thing was sharp! His had the electroluminescent gauges which I thought were cool for a Honda.

It was just like this, but his had tinted windows.

The Jeep Cherokee. As a loyal Jeeper the Liberty doesn't do it justice, the patriot and compass are hardly jeeps leaving only the wrangler series as the only suitable replacement line, but it doesn't quite fit the bill. Now that jeep has extended the wheelbase of the TJ and JK it will probably be my choice for replacement vehicle, but it will never replace the venerable XJ in my heart.

I think Cadillac should have kept the Fleetwood Brougham series. Because they have not had anything to compete with the Lincoln Town Car since the Fleetwood was discontinued after the 1996 model year.

I also think it was a big mistake for Chrysler to replace the Dart/Valiant with the Aspen/Volare. It would be nice to see the Dart nameplate return, but not with today's "styling." More like the styling of the '64-'72 Dart/Valiant.

Chevrolet Caprice, I thought they were well built cars and I didn't understand why they had to drop them, I'm a big fan of the large rear wheel drive cars and I still wish they were popular today.

I also wish they've never dropped the Jeep Cherokee, despite the boxy shape they were rugged and dependable SUV's and they had a good amount of power/torque.

I miss the Acura Legend... they could have kept a model between the TSX and the TL.

The Prelude is also an obvious one.. I was also a fan of Oldsmobiles. Hated the name, but I liked the line they had when it was cancelled a year or so ago.

The Ford Aerostar was fantastic. The Windstar, on the other hand, has been a thorn in Ford's side since day one. It is to Ford what the B-Body is to GM: a style they dropped only to see their cross-town rival produce it for an additional decade plus.

I wish they would've never dropped the Toyota Celica, I thought they were really nice looking vehicles and they offered great gas mileage, I thought the newer Celica's were very underrated vehicles.
