It's funny how people still say Hyundai copies other brands when Hyundai's been leading the pack in design for years now.

You guys do realize Porsche used the Santa Fe as the base for the Cayenne right?

And now Mercedes Benz has acquired one of Hyundai's designers for themselves: Exclusive: Joel Piaskowski to head Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design

Who's copying who exactly?

As for reliability, Hyundai tests their vehicles for 3 full years before releasing in the NA market. This Genesis has been tested since early 2005 so the're sure of the reliability. Also, the resale prices for these new cars is supposed to be on par with the best of them.

Hyundai is obviously really improving but I still cringe when I think of buying one. It's like getting a Dodge Neon and putting a racing stripe on it....it is just wack!

My jury is still out.... I fell for the "Hyundai enters the big leagues" routine on the Azera.

Took a test drive & was NOT impressed.

Same with their Minivan & the Sante Fe redesign a few years back. Their cars just have something missing. And that something is'nt compensated for by the lower sticker.
