I don't know, but I venture to guess that if the Title requires that the owner's signature be Notarized, there will be a space there for the Notary to sign. I know Montana Titles have that space, and the owner MUST sign in the presence of the Notary Public for the signature to be valid.
If you are unfamiliar with the Titles in the State where you purchase the vehicle, look very closely at the title, the instructions for proper transfer of ownership are usually printed there.
