Unable to walk more than 50 ft without extreme pain. As I said I am disabled due to accident 25 yrs ago. When I get my disability I will get bariactric (sp) surgery and get my hip fixed. Can not walk because hip won't work.

Sorry, I'm not a stereotyped fat lazy slob eating 24/7, watching TV 24/7, and then whinning about why I can't do anything. I used to deliver 500 boxes to 28 stops a day driving a semi truck for more than 10 yrs and weighed 150 lbs less than now and hip advanced in problems in the last 3 yrs.

Sheesh. Mine is a good bit under 3K. I wish it was lighter (like the Elise or Exige).

It is true that even "sporty" modern cars are gaining weight. Even the imports are heavy with "sport coupes" tipping the scales at nearly 4,000 lbs.

I guess that makes people feel safe.......

Maybe that Volvo Wagon is good for people who want some room to haul stuff + safety but without taking the risk of a flip-over champ SUV.
