BusinessWeek should stick to business. They have not clue about automobiles.

That said, I agree a bunch are ugly, but if you read all the drivel in the captions, it is clear they know nothing about cars.

Why is the Chevette on the list? Granted, I never thought highly of the car, but at the time I didn't label it as "ugly". I just thought it was cheap and junky.

I agree. Many, well most of those are ugly, but I would not say some of those are the ugliest.

IMO, the Ford Mustang II was not that bad, nor was the BMW 7-Series, Cadillac Escalade, Volvo 240, or even the AMC Pacer.... The Pacer was odd more than ugly IMO, but the Gremlin, well that was UGLY imo, even though my grandpa has one with 49K actual miles.

I don't think the El Camino was ugly. In fact a 1968-1970 El Camino looked bad arse, the 71-72 looked good too.

I've forever noticed that the color of a car can alter one's view of any car.

I've seen any particular car with an unappealing color, then I'll notice the same car and wonder what kind of car that was, completely forgetting it was the same car I found unattractive, but now attractive with the right coloring.

I've seen a new Ford Focus in white and I found it totally unappealing. Yet I've seen a black one and I suddenly want to go out and buy one.

Change the color on any ugly car and you might be surprised, or dress it up with some custom wheels.

It had only 57 HP... That in itself is ugly.

yup. Its hard to call one of the best selling cars in the US ugly, like the Sable. The 90s Taurus is ugly though.
