If the Camaro is hot in your area like it is here, then there is probably no negotiation. There's no point. They are still going sticker price here.
You have to look at it in terms of what you are buying as well.

I guess you're right. Here (and most places it seems) Mini Coopers sell at exactly MSRP, even though the dealer lot is full of new minis and nobody is there buying cars. Just the policy i guess.
I guess i can equate the scenario of my Sentra to my previous 115 hp hot-rod, a chevy cavalier. Based on what i've read, Chevy lost $1000 on average for every one sold just so they could have greater market share. As a matter of fact, everbody in my family has owned at least 1 chevy cavalier. We paid between $6,000 and $10,000 for each of them, brand new so obviously no money was being made in these deals! All of them are still running too with a minimum of 150,000 miles, one of them has over 230,000 and all we do is just change tires, oil, and air filters!
