So far, it is only offered as the V10...supposedly V8 in another year or so.

I have to say that V-10 sounds like music to my ears and would sound even better crusing with the top down on the freeway

I couldn't agree more!
We're working on it! (Anyone for a slightly used, not quite 7000 miles, Silver R8....complete carbon pkg and fully loaded?)

Well, she may have a few more miles on her...had a response from a dealer that they won't be delivered until late 2010...with pricing details coming out shortly. At least we're on a list

Stick with the hardtops, they look a lot sexier.

Sweet ride! Only wish the interior was more simplified. Looks a tad bit overdone, kinda like how Pontiac over does it with all the buttons.

At least, with my current R8, the interior is done really well. Each button/switch is placed perfectly. The only peeve my husband has is the cup holders are placed well in back of the slotted stick. His elbow sits lies over the cup holder. I have no problem with it...mine sits closer. They could just do without the cup holders in our opinion.
Hard to tell with what they've done with the back. Since they have to stowe the top...looks the shelf and storage space in the back in gone, being placed with 2 small compartments. Again, not a problem here. Only thing that sits back is my cd pack.
