An undisclosed number of B-52s have arrived at the Al Udeid Air Base on Sunday, the US Air Force said.

“The B-52 will provide the coalition continued precision and deliver desired airpower effects,” Lt. Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., commander, US Air Forces Central Command said in the statement.
Cool!!!

Things are getting interesting.

Good isis needs to be beat. They have had too much time to spread their terror and murder.
I'm glad the world has finally had enough and is finally stepping up.

But once they are gone will we see another more radical group take their place?

as curtis lamay once said, if you kill enough of them, they will stop fighting, its the nature of war.

We missed a chance to stop this when they had 30,000+ on the Road to Baghdad. It could have been a repeat of the last road out of Kuwait. Linear slaughter.

except that what would have happened is the world press would have done what they did in kuwait, they would have used the picture of said slaughter to excoriate everyone except the terrorists.

WE seem to have the intel to know when they have their big meetings. It even gets on the news to tell us. Then when 2 or 3 of them do their cowardly bombings, we go all out just after these few. Get them when they are together. THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE PLANNING ON DOING TO US AND THE WORLD ALL THE TIME. We p*ss around with these guys. Like some one said, Kill enough of them, they will stop.

I hope all the aircrew make it back safe. It's not worth it. No reason to risk the lives of American aircrews just to keep Middle East Muslims from killing each other. I don't care how many it might save, it's not worth the life of one American.

Wars are run by lawyers and political committees now. 90% of these PC generals and admirals now behind the podiums make me sick. It's no wonder. The armed forces have been turned into a social experiment.

How do you square this with the reports that even the paltry payloads of the F-16s are often returned because they can find targets? What changed? And wasn't it just a few months ago that "carpet bombing" was roundly ridiculed by you know who?
