I am a fan of fishing, and going to move to Baltimore in August. I wanna find some place to fish (especially salmon) in Baltimore and neighborhood. Any response is appreciated! Thank you!

Northern Baltimore County has some nice streams where you'll find trout and crappy.
Western MD has more of that. You won't find salmon though.

No salmon to be found except in your grocer's fish section. If you want more than just river/creek fishing, you can probably find a group charter boat out to fish in part of the Chesapeake Bay. I think there are still fish living there, despite all the gloom and doom pronoucements from the state goverment

LOL you will not find salmon in Maryland! Do you think this is Minnesota? Rent a boat and go out on the Bay in Southeastern Baltimore County. Don't know now to use a boat? There are probably 30 public piers in Baltimore County alone. Give it a go. You will catch Rockfish (striped bass), catfish, croakers, crabs (if ya throw in some traps).

I don't think you can catch salmon in Minnesota either. They live in the ocean as adults, and go back to their birthplace, coastal rivers to spawn.

There's some damn good ones there too! You've got to find the right spots, though, because regulations can be a little unexpected in certain areas and a bit stricter than other areas I've fished. If you get the chance, try it out- it's a lot of fun. The extreme Upper Midwest is one of my favorite areas of the US- it's beautiful country up there. These boards are no good for me- I read about all these great places and don't have the money to travel that freely.
