Hi everyone!

I have to go to York, PA from BWI airport on Nov 12th (Saturday)

Here are the facts:

1. Plane lands at BWI at 1.15pm.

2. Greyhound bus to York
from Baltimore Downtown Terminal at 4.05pm or
from Baltimore Express Terminal at 3.40 pm (transfer at downtown terminal)

here are my questions:

1. Which greyhound terminal should I prefer?

2. How can I go to the greyhound terminal from the airport by public transportation and how long will it take?

3. Are there any cheap alternative ways to get to York from BWI?

1) Rent a car. (66 miles and done)
2) Light Rail (or Super Shuttle) up to Hunt Valley...
meet your best buddy, drive to York (38 miles) with them.

Trains and buses and schlepping... oh my!
The same light rail train into B'more (Westport station). Find a cab.

Or... take the #27 transit bus to near the Greyhound station...
and tote your stuff as you walk the remaining 4 blocks.

Allegedly... 2110 HAINES ST is still the correct address.
Call to verify (410) 752-7682.

and how long will it (all) take?
just shy of forever.

I should have mentioned that I don't drive It's a bit embarrassing, I know.

driving won't work for me anyways because from York, I'll go back to New York by bus.

then you will do this use light rail to cherry hill then use a 27 bus to greyhound terminal make sure it DOES NOT SAY PORT COVINGTON. The bus boards accross the street from the light rail station. OHH bring a mask they smoke like chimnies there and it's very disgusting so be prepared. Ohh and be warned there are some very fugly but friendly folks there.

Just curious.. You cant take Greyhound from Baltimore to York PA? I briefly glanced at their schedule and was surprised to discover that there are several buses that run to/from York to Baltimore. Its about an hour ride and no transfers or stops. Seems like you can get to the bus station from BWI or take the light rail to Camden Yards and a quick cab ride over to the Greyhound Terminal and your there

I wonder why Greyhound or their subsidiary Bolt Bus do not offer service between Baltimore Penn Station and York PA? To me that would be a HUGE market for all those folks in PA that work either in Bmore or DC. I know there is some limited bus service from York to Hunt Valley... but that transfer plus the walk over to Penn Station from Mt. Royal.. kills it for those going to DC.
