Baltimore is a dumbass town FOR REAL!!! This is prime example of what my post are about. How in the hell do you trade a player who helped you get to championship and because of a salary cap, want to take a $2M pay cut, and then proceed to pay an "average/so-so" QB $120M over 6 years??!! Incredible!!??

This has nothing to due with the intelligence of the city. The Baltimore Ravens are a privately owned team. This is a rather unintelligent post though. Congrats!

To say that because the Ravens made ONE trade, the City of Baltimore is therefore a "crazy ass town" and a "dumbass town" are crazy and dumbass statements themselves. You may disagree with the trade, I'm a huge Ravens fan myself and was very sad to see Boldin go. But in case you didn't realize it, Ozzie Newsome and the Ravens brass in general are renowned throughout the entire NFL as among the top men in their profession, and are constantly making moves that make the Ravens a better team.

There is just no logical way you can say that because a perennial playoff contender and defending Super Bowl Champion team made one trade that the whole city they represent is dumb. You're the dumb and crazy one here buddy.

IN OZZIE WE TRUST

Flacco is going to look very pedestrian next year.

And you just proved my point with that response. Isn't DC supposed to be one of the most educated cities? Well the Skins have made some terrible moves in the past few years. Does that alone make DC uneducated now as well? You don't seem to understand what a private organization is. Think before you speak next time.

I hate to see Boldin go, but I reserve judgment to see where Ozzie spends the money instead.

Boldin has been a great Raven. I wish him luck in Frisco.

Default It was coming.

Not that I went out of my way to wish it. Even without the effect of Flacco's new contract on the team's salary cap, other NFL teams still would have re-balanced their budgets to woo away the best players on the team. I'll bet that the 49ers were very happy when they heard that Boldin was asked to cut his salary; it made picking him up easier.
