Surprised that forum moderators don't put a limit on infinite777. I guess the only thing to do is skip all those posts. Newbies like me take a while to realize this.

What is race-baiting? Geez..the terminology people make up to hide their obvious hatred for another ethnic group. I can say, "my dog more black stripes than white stripes", or "I like my coffee black with no cream or sugar" and people get called a race-baiter!? How logical is this? You know that some of ya'll don't think logically, using niggological and crackology methods of research and analysis. Those Jedi Mindless tricks don't work on some.

It is quite popular to be an "anti intellectual"...not just here in Baltimore....

I recall a certain VP Presidential Candidate whose running mate was John McCain.... You betcha.. the media tried to peg her and her followers as the "know nothing crowd" or "Mom goes to Washington" for her folksy anti intellectual statements and for saying things like (and Im paraphrasing) *That Mr. Obama like talking all that talk and all that technical washington mumbo jumbo speak that only people inside the beltway understand..... I dont want to talk about those things.. I want to talk about what regular folks wanta hear.. Gosh Darnit... what people talk about around their dinner table and out on the farm*....... (so much for foreign policy)

Then there is the famous....."That Mr. Obama wants everybody to go to college?!!....... what a snob".....Rick Santorum.

You can edit the Ignore List on "My Settings" under your profile and can add anyone's name on the box. Do it and the, viola, no longer have to see their nonsense

I'm not from the Bmore area but I will agree that OP has a tendency to be incredibly over-the-top at times. But the only reason s/he is not on my Ignore List is because s/he can be pretty entertaining sometimes lol.

As for the mods, I'm starting to think that the Baltimore forum doesn't have any mods.....

Agreed and good point. Though it's true that some places have a higher percentage of advanced degree holders than others, intellectually engaged people are in the minority just about everywhere.
