The Colts very first touchdown. Note Eastern High on 33rd St. in background.

Baltimore Colts first touchdown - Oldest Living Pro Football Players

Part of the upper deck completed. Recall Dad and I attending an Oriole International League game there against the Rochester Red Wings. Next year, the Orioles (nee St. Louis Browns) entered the American League. Again Eastern High seen in the distance.

I am interested in old Baltimore Colt Memorabilia. I have very little of it though. Unless I can find it on the fly I usually don't bother. I have Football cards from the 50's through the early 80's. Many high grades.
I would like to get my hands on the real early Colt Pennants. Some of their early ticket stubs are interesting also.
Stuff I never find in the spots I dig. Or very rarely.

Good hobby.

I had a baseball -- of all things -- autographed by future Hall Of Famer Baltimore Colt Raymond Berry. He was in his 2nd season with the Colts and appeared as a guest speaker at the Brehms Little League awd. ceremonies. I got the ball for having the best won-loss record. Heh, a baseball signed by a football player. Go figure. Whereabouts of ball unknown but ol' Raymond's still with us. Good guy.

In the 50s, I collected football and baseball cards and kept some Colt game programs. All gone now.

I bought Raymond Berry's High School yearbook on Ebay about 10 years ago and gave it to my Father for a Christmas present. It was not his actual book. It belonged to a women in his class I guess. I think it was the 1949 Owl? Anyway he signed, and initialed it in a couple spots.
I paid $100 for it, and doubt I could get that for it. Most people would have no idea who Berry was. And the Unitas Colts were before my time. Unitas retired when I was five.
