How are visiting friends in Canton and Fell's Point? How's these areas in general?

I get the sense that Fell's Point has gentrified (slightly?) and that Canton is similar to Fell's Point, but more residential and less things to seek out?

It also seems like parking is difficult when I've passed by before.

Thank you!

Your opinion is the one that matters.

Of course they are. Remember what Fells was like 30 years ago when this was starting. Actually a little sooner.
Then the New Yawk, Chicago, Boston, and especially the DC crowd started pouring in and now it's gentrification on steroids.

Fells was so much better in the 1980s/early 1990s.

That was my point. It's hipsters, effete Hopkins Students, and the wine and cheese crowd.
Weirdly still to many zeros all over the place on Friday, and Saturday night.
I only go to Baltimore to sell to Sound Garden. And that is usually in the middle of the week. I can't stand the one hand record buyer. He is usually not working then.

I love Fells and Canton, and have since I moved to Baltimore in '99. I lived in Tindeco Wharf and I met my wife at Cats Eye when she was living at Henderson's Wharf. Now we spend Friday and Saturday nights doing karaoke at the Polish Home Club on Broadway, eat at Dogwatch or Good Burger, and afterwards wander down to 1919 pub, across from our friend's art gallery on Fleet. Spent a lot of weekends in and around O'Donnell Square. And my wife and I got married on the schooner NightHawk, that used to be docked there in Fells. if We only had one dog instead of three, I'd probably be looking at buying a house down there... I'm definitely not a hipster, or a Hopkins student, effete or not. I do like wine, so... But I'm keen on trying 'Birds of a Feather' Scotch bar on Aliceanna...
