Doesn't matter.... they shoudn't have been in a shift during a WALK!!!!!!!!!! Again, were you watching??????????

Dodgers rookies went 1-for-8 while he had playoff veterans like Puig, Crawford, Utley and Rollins on the bench. Stupid as hell.

Mattingly deserves blame for that? It was your infielders who screwed up...how can you blame Mattingly??

The fact the batter walked makes the infielders look even WORSE...What in hell was Mattingly supposed to do there?

Look Mattingly made some mistakes but game 5 was not on him..sorry. That's called a scapegoat.

As for starting rookies, lets face it. He didnt have a rich pool of solid bats to choose from.

Well as a life long Dodgers fan, I will hand it to the Mets. They sure seemed to want that game more than the Dodgers did. Dodgers played like it was a spring training game. Congratulations.

It was not an intentional walk! He had the shift on properly as your pitcher was trying to get the batter OUT.

wtf!

How was it NOT Mattingly's fault???????

Why were the Dodgers still in a shift with the runner on 2B with nobody covering 3B anyways?????? You think that was a smart strategic move?

As soon as the walk was issued, Mattingly's should have jumped out of his seat and told them to either get out of the shift or cover 3B!!!!!!!!! Instead the clueless moron was sitting there with a blank stare picking his nose!!!!!!!!

Damn, are you really this clueless about basic baseball strategy????? You seem as clueless as Mattingly!

All teams shift on Duda...ALL OF THEM.

Why someone did not cover third is a question the INFIELDERS need to figure out.

I know you guys are done with Mattingly and that's fine but to blame him for playing the shift? Ludicrous.

These are pro players...somebody should have know to get over to third.

Was Duda getting another at-bat after he WALKED or maybe his clone was batting next? The problem wasn't why they were in a shift DURING Dudas at bat idiot.... why were they still in the shift AFTER he WALKED!!!!!!!!!!

Either Mattingly told them to remain in the SHIFT or he didn't notice his 3rd baseman was 80 FEET out of position. Either way how was it not Mattingly's fault?????

Do you think if a Giant or Cub player was out of position Bochy or Maddon wouldn't notice???? I've see Bochy stop a game cause his defender was out of position by a FOOT!!!!!! That's what great managers do, they keep an eye on EVERYTHING cause managers are suppose to be SMARTER than the players!!!!!! Not dumber like Mattingly!!!!!

Why they didn't move quickly is a question I cannot answer. You want to blame Mattingly for that fine.

And you know something else? I really don't give a ****.

Mattingly had a FULL MINUTE to notice that his player was out of position but didn't bother getting off his lazy stupid arse to tell him to MOVE!!!!!! Yet you don't think it was his fault. How can anyone take you seriously?

Of course that wasn't the only stupid mistake he made in the game. With the runners on 1st and 3rd, was he strategizing to bring in that all important 3rd run? Nope he was busy making snarky remarks to his player and getting into a shouting match. The same player who drove in a run to put them ahead. Of course during their fight, the ROOKIE batter Mattingly started grounds into a double play and they never get another chance like that again.

Why hasn't this MORON been fired yet????????
