There was no problem with the lack of a DH in the NL until his last remaining pitcher hurt his foot in a freak injury. Now no pitcher should ever bat? It's a rule from the 1800s?
Hank, buddy, almost all of baseballs rules are from the 1800s. Are there any more that you want changed for your benefit alone? Maybe move the fences in 200 ft when your team bats? Or maybe we should give teams from the Bronx five strikes rather than just three, in honor of the five boros.
The DH rule is a joke anyways. Maybe they should create a second DH in the lineup since catchers usually aren't great hitters. The AL lacks the strategy of the NL, get ird of the DH already.
Maybe if Girardi knew how to manage a game, Wang wouldn't have gotten hurt....they had a comfortable lead at that point and should have either pinch-hit or pinch-run for Wang.

That's a little harsh, Girardi doesn't know how to manage a team because he let his pitcher run the bases? Right after you said that the DH rule is a joke?

Make up your mind
He should have pinch-hit for the pitcher at that point in the game, or at least pinch-run. Pretty common when you're up by that much late in a game.

Girardi is a good manager, it's not his fault his players were struggling until A-rod came back from injury, and yes Hank is an a**wipe.

He had an opportunity to save the pen, what's wrong with that?
IF you have to pull a pitcher in that situation so he wont injure himself on the bases than maybe the AL does it right and DH's for them in the first place.
If this was a Royals pitcher, for example, Hank would probably not have said a word. He might have, being completely incapable of keeping his opinion to himself, but probably not.
Milton Bradley tears up his knee arguing a call at first. Maybe the NL should come into the 21st century and not allow players to argue calls.
Jason Kendall destroyed his ankle and almost ended his career while trying to beat out a bunt several seasons ago. Maybe the NL should also ban bunting. Players have been bunting their way on base since the 1800s. It's certainly time to get rid of that ancient rule.

I've never in my life thought I'd miss The Boss.
I am one fan who won't miss The Boss. Bring on the new guy. It just means the Orioles and Rays have hope, after all.
And that is something that Yankees fans will just have to get used to. That's it. There's no other choice.
