Watching the Phillies vs the Cubs game last night I saw Shane Victorino get a Beer Shower while catching a ball.

That had to be one of the worst thing I ever saw in a Baseball game.
I know if that would of happened in Philly. This would have been replayed for ever.

Who do you believe has the worst fans?

Easily the Cubs. They are the biggest bunch of gasbags in baseball with nothing to back it up. They go on-and-on about Wrigley and what a great park it is. While historic, it also has a lot of really bad seats. The Wrighleyville neighborhood is cool, but it seems that Cubs "fans" are more into the party scene then the actual game itself. And because of that, team ownership and management can afford to put whatever product they want to on the field, because they know the minions will show up anyway.

I'll second (or third depending on how you read the OP) and say Cubs fans are intolerable.

Honorable mention to Bawston

Depends on what you mean by worst. If you mean the most annoying, it's Red Sox fans, if you mean the most rowdy and unruly, Phillies.

I've been a Cubs fan for decades.
The area around Wrigley has changed considerably since the first time I went to a game there. I'll watch a game on TV, but have little interest to attend a game live, especially not in the bleachers. Like a poster said, too many frat boys and other immature minds get too much alcohol and act like 10 year old brats. Throwing anything at any player is about as stupid an act as a fan can do.
Today's Chicago Tribune is asking if anyone knows who threw that beer, because the police also want to know. I hope they get that moron.

I agree with you.

I also think some fan's can give the whole city a bad name. That guy was an Idiot.

Throwing a Beer at a player making a catch was wrong. I wonder if he would of drop it would they still consider it an out on Chicago?

The Yankees. They are usually very arrogant. Most of the time they are not from NY and have no affiliation with the Yankees or New York City except for "they always win." They dont typically know a lot about baseball, definately less than most fans. They usually sweat a lot, are drunk and out of touch with reality. O yeah, and their girls are usually the ugliest.

That seems like really poor police work. 4 guys at the bar I was at knew that idiot (so they claimed). Also, don't they arrest you at the park? I can't believe they just ejected him without getting his name/addy etc.
