whether this offseason the Heat should consider trading either Wade or LBJ to see if they can get Howard. He said the Heat have to evaluate whether Wade and LBJ really complement each other. He said the Heat should be looking for more balance. Just when you thought the summer will be a break from hearing about the Heat...the heat will pick up again!!

This was the first year with them together so it is much too early to say but going to the championship in the first year isn't too shabby.

I agree. Still too premature to tell though the only real chance for any team to get Howard is during the next season if he doesn't sign an extension during the summer. We have quite a few more months before Feb 2012 for this drama.

Unless Orlando adds some talent this offseason, I see Howard leaving before then via trade. Hopefully to my Warriors.

Howard is overrated. He's big, but lacks imagination and creativity. His shot selection is very limited. He has no outside shot, not that good of a passer, needs to be damn near under the basket to score. Defensively, he can block shots, but can easily be outmaneuvered by smarter players in the same manner as Chris Bosh. He's foul-prone because he is far from graceful. Bringing him to Miam for either Wade or James will not get this team another championship. It takes a good, deep team to win, one with a better coach than the current Miami coach.

The Heat will never win a championship as long as they rely on three players: Wade, James, and Bosh. This is a team game, not a game of teams comprised of 3 players.

Both Wade and James thrive best on good teams and I think Miami should make changes with this in mind. Keep James or Wade, but not both. Use one to get one or more players who help build a deeper, more versatile team.

So....we have posters that aren't satisfied with a team making it to game 6 of the finals in their first year together with no real bench and they want to unload wade or lebron already?

Wow.

You mean the guy that is the best center and best defender in the league by pretty much unanimous consent?

The guy that averaged 27pts and almost 16 rebs per game in the playoffs while shooting over 60%?

Pretty much I'm left wondering if you are talking about Josh Howard?
