Can you recall an occasion where someone you've seen in person was wearing an out-of-place jersey?

Just a week or so ago here in my hometown in Central Texas, I saw a stranger walking down the street in a Mike Bibby Sacramento Kings jersey.

I just moved to Mesa, AZ (Phoenix Suns area) and saw a guy wearing an Andre Miller Cavs jersey at my apartment complex

I'm going to set an alarm for 2022, so I can go walk down the street in a random rural East Coast locale wearing one of my two Chris Anderson Nuggets jerseys.

This is a really good question, lol.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I do have a Darius Miles Cavaliers jersey I wear to away games which might be a little weird. I wear it because a) it was really cheap on ebay after he was traded, b) it deters comments from people asking if I'm a bandwagoner, because, who on earth would have liked Cleveland during those dark days?

I still have Charlotte Hornet jerseys that go back to the 90's. Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bouges, and Alonzo Mourning. You can actually buy these shirts at the Hornets team shop, people were wearing them in the final season before the Bobcats became the Hornets.

When the Knicks come to town I will sometimes see Knick fans in Stephon Marbury jerseys. However the most random I think was the guy who wore a Kwame Brown Wizards jersey to a Wizards-Bobcats game in the 10-11 season, when Brown was suiting up for the Bobcats.

Now if we're talking other sports, I recently saw a guy at a bus stop wearing a Ryan Leaf Chargers jersey.

Heh, the kid next door to me here in Ohio has that same Kings' Bibby jersey. I still have a Jason Richardson Warriors' jersey I may bust out for their next playoff run. Sorry, can't think of anything that would top a Wizards' Kwame Brown jersey
